A creative use of a treemap to show a network of relations. |

What an interesting way to view the relationships! |

I’m curious, what is the order of the pairs of names? |

Wow! This is a super cool way to look at it. I hadn’t thought of using a treemap in this way. |

The data is arranged so that less-common names are always subsumed under more-common ones. So “Peter” appears under “Jesus” because “Jesus” is more popular than “Peter.” However, Peter has his own section containing all names that are less-popular than his. It seemed like doing it this way provided the best visualization. You can use the “Name #1” and “Name #2” tabs above the chart to flip this relationship. In the data itself, the names are alphabetical and then sorted by count, but the treemap algorithm picks the best way to display them. |

Wow… the earliest that i had encountered on a name-mapping of Biblical Name/Relationships mapping was way back in the early 80s by Rev. Br. Witness Lee Chang-Sou who re-arranged and re-edited previous efforts & resources in biblical studies and manuscripts. I wonder if this is a partial basis of the effort you folks at alphaWorks based upon? |

This data isn’t based on others’ work (though it sounds like it would have been helpful). It’s an independent effort. |
