The timeframe 1978-2000 is generally accepted as the years for Generation Y. Those born during these years are also known as The Millenials and The Internet Generation. According to the dataset used, in 2010 the population of Generation Y is estimated at 96.6 million. For the same year, Gen X is estimated at 58 million and Baby Boomers 72 million. |
