Hi Frank! I have few questions about network diagrams:

the nodes's sizes represents its out-degree, or its in-degree? How is it evaluated the strong and week graph components in the layout? Taking as an example our co-authorship network...we can see some "outlier" networks there. So, is that measured by some distance similarity measure? Is there any kind of "clustering" approach behind such layouts?

Before uploading that dataset, I've also eliminated redunt "associations"...however, in such co-autorship net, it might be interesting to see (weight) that A->B (appears together in several articles). Thus, it might be interesting to allow some kind of dependency network analysis.

Do you have any reference about the graph drawing algorithm behind this layout schema?

Many thanks, :0)
Ronnie

Hi Frank, 'Your bubble chart budget' is amazing. I happen to be planning a website to provide education on the National Debt. Is it possible to use this chart 'in' my site..so I can add text, and enlarge the chart? I am happy to put your name/credot and link all over it. If possible - what backend tools would I need to include this chart? Thanks.

FYI - I got the answer from the FAQ - I should have read that first;-(

Can I use one of your visualization applets on my website? For now, we prefer that you simply link to this site. For one thing, that lets people have a discussion around a visualization using the bookmarking and forums that we provide.
