1. What is a mashup?
Wikipedia provides several definitions for mashup. In the Web 2.0 context, a mashup is a Web application that uses content from more than one source to create a new service.

2. Where does the name "DAMIA" come from?
DAMIA stands for IBM® Data Mashup Fabric for Intranet Applications. Damia is also the Greek earth goddess.

3. What types of feeds does this service support?
The service supports ATOM 1.0, RSS 2.0, and XML feeds.

4. Does DAMIA support loading of data only from a feed?
DAMIA can also load data from local XML files and Excel spreadsheets, and more data sources are being worked on.
